He assured the school of his full support in future. As a mark of munificence and compassion he had brought along with him, a set of books to motivate the students to start an old books’ store for the needy students. Mr. Kailash Gidwaaney in his speech reiterated the fact that charity is a passion, devotion and a part of one’s inherent nature. It should be done with complete dedication. The first aim of a student is to study well and do his duty towards family and then to the society, by doing charity. He suggested to the in-charges of club, a novel way of charity which was to help the students who were weak not only monetarily but also study wise.

The student President, Archit Bagal and secretary, Richa John were handed over the charity box by the Chief Guest, as a mark of initiation in the right direction. In turn, they assured the dignitaries that the club is going to ‘contribute and collect’ constantly to serve the divine purpose of charity. Richa John, in her speech, informed the audience the plan of the coming events in the charity club. The club is about to open a ‘Used Book Store’, and is about to start a Paper Recycling Project. The club will be active in fund collection to provide financial help to the needy students. They are also planning to visit a labor camp to distribute food packets and clothes etc. The programme ended with the school’s Deputy Head Girl, Nandini Balaji expressing gratitude towards the gathering.
