Holding a Diploma in Fine Arts, I possess a strong foundation in both artistic techniques and effective teaching methodologies. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of teaching students across various age groups, from elementary to high school. Beyond teaching, I have spearheaded numerous art programs and exhibitions, empowering students to take pride in their artistic accomplishments and build confidence in their creative abilities. An ardent and dedicated music educator with 17 years of experience at Indian School Al Seeb, I am passionate about teaching the universal language of music. Holding a postgraduate degree in music, I am committed to nurturing and inspiring students to reach their full potential. My teaching excellence has been recognized with prestigious awards, including the ‘Navin Asher Kazi Best Teacher Award’ in Coscholastic among Indian Schools in Oman (2017-18) and the ‘Excellence Award in Teaching’ from the Ministry of Education, Oman (2018-19), as well as numerous other accolades within the school. I continue to strive for excellence in music education, empowering students to become confident, creative, and compassionate individuals.

Fine Arts Teacher (Middle & Senior)

A Lifetime of Inspiring Creativity-With an unwavering passion for fine arts, I have dedicated myself to nurturing the next generation of artists and art enthusiasts. Over 21 years of experience as a fine arts educator have equipped me with the expertise to guide students in bringing their artistic vision to life. My own artistic journey began at a young age, leading me to pursue advanced degrees in fine arts, including a Master of Fine Arts, GD Art, and Art Master. Notably, I was honored with a certificate and cash prize for my exceptional artistic portrayal of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said in the Nationwide Painting Contest, held on the occasion of Oman’s 39th National Day. This recognition, awarded by the Director of the Omani Society for Fine Arts and Bank Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, further fuels my commitment to inspiring creativity and artistic excellence in my students.

With an illustrious career spanning 25 years, I have had the privilege of serving as a dedicated Dance Teacher at Indian School Al Seeb for the past decade. Holding a prestigious NADANABHOOSHANAM diploma and a Bachelor’s degree in Performing Arts, I have expertly guided students in various dance forms, leading them to secure numerous prizes in school and interschool competitions. As a seasoned educator, I have successfully coordinated all middle and senior dance programs, fostering a passion for dance among my students. My vision is to create a space where dance is not just an art form but a therapeutic journey toward self-discovery, emotional expression and holistic well-being in students and I look forward to continuing to inspire and nurture the next generation of dancers.

With a rich background in classical dance, holding a BA in Mohiniyattam, a post diploma and an MA in Bharathanatyam, I have dedicated myself to the art of dance education for over 23 years. Throughout my career, I have remained steadfast in my commitment to harnessing the transformative power of dance to foster holistic development in my students. By expertly guiding them in the technical nuances of dance, I aim to cultivate not only their physical agility and artistic expression but also their emotional intelligence, creativity, and confidence. Through my teaching, I strive to create a supportive and inspiring environment that empowers students to explore their full potential, develop a lifelong passion for dance, and become compassionate and well-rounded individuals.

As a seasoned art educator with 13 years of experience and a B.A. Diploma in Arts, my vision is to foster creativity in students by encouraging self-expression through various art forms. I aim to develop foundational skills in drawing, painting, and other techniques, ensuring students cultivate both technical and creative abilities. My approach emphasizes inclusive learning, where every student feels valued and supported, regardless of background or skill level. Additionally, I integrate art projects with other subjects to create interdisciplinary learning opportunities, making art a relevant and integral part of the educational experience.

Shikkhar Indu

Music Teacher (Primary Section)

As a seasoned music educator with 17 years of experience and a Master’s degree in Music (M.A) and Education (B.Ed), I’ve had the privilege of sharing my passion for music with students. Notably, I’ve released two singles as a music director and lyricist with T-Series, composed music for a TV serial on SAB TV, and created the Indian School Al Seeb’s school anthem. My vision is to harness music’s universal language to bring people together, fostering creativity, performance skills, and cultural appreciation. Through instrumental and vocal lessons, concerts, and recitals, I aim to develop students’ musical talents, encourage creative expression, and promote a deeper understanding of diverse musical genres and traditions.
