Indian School Al Seeb proudly hosts AVENIR 2025, the flagship career guidance and educational programme under the aegis of the Board of Directors, Indian Schools in Oman.

This year’s edition promises to be an inspiring platform with career awareness sessions led by well-established alumni, a dynamic Young Entrepreneurs’ Forum (VISIONERA 2025) showcasing innovative start-up ideas, and impactful motivational talks by acclaimed speakers as well as student leaders.

AVENIR 2025 is more than an event – it is a celebration of dreams, determination, and discovery, equipping students with the confidence to shape their future with clarity and purpose.

We are pleased to inform you that Indian School Al Seeb has the privilege of hosting AVENIR 2025, the annual career guidance and educational programme organised under the aegis of the Board of Directors, Indian Schools in Oman. The mega programme will be held on 25th, 26th and 27th October. The event is designed to empower students to make well-informed career choices and to prepare them for future opportunities.

This year, AVENIR 2025 offers exciting innovative initiatives and diverse programmes to students across various boards of education such as CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE, and IB, helping them embark on their journey of exploring passions and opportunities in international universities.

The highlights of this year’s event with the school’s roles are given below:

• Career Awareness Sessions: In addition to acquainting students with a wide range of career paths, these sessions will provide a platform for alumni from all Indian schools to share their expertise and experiences. Schools are requested to identify and nominate alumni who are well-established in their respective careers and competent to address students.

• Young Entrepreneur’s Forum: Indian School Al Seeb is proud to host VISIONERA 2025, an Entrepreneurial Exhibition that encourages young minds to innovate, create and showcase unique business ideas and products. All schools are invited to present a start-up project, providing a platform to showcase innovation and creativity, with the objective of identifying and encouraging young entrepreneurs.

• Motivational Talks: Besides sessions by acclaimed motivational speakers, Indian School Al Seeb invites talented students with knowledge, enthusiasm, and a passion for inspiring others to take the stage. Members of the student community are encouraged to deliver short motivational talks (5 to 7 minutes each). Each participating school is allowed to nominate one student who demonstrates extraordinary abilities in a chosen field. Each career talk will commence with a student motivational speaker, setting a positive and inspiring tone for their peers.

The other salient features of the event include:

• Panel Discussion: CEOs of various companies will be invited to participate in a panel discussion on the topic “The Importance of Soft Skills in Building a Career.”

• University Interaction and Outreach Programme: A Career Expo will be organised in coordination with Omani universities, schools, and other reputed institutes, providing parents and students of different Indian schools an opportunity to interact with experts and representatives.

Peer Career Counselling: Counsellors from different schools will be given an opportunity to provide guidance and support to students in need, regardless of their own school affiliation.
