Eco club of ISAS started its activities from the month of April for the academic session-2019-20.
The teachers in charge of various classes introduced about the importance of eco-club and gave awareness about the conservation of nature.
Students were divided into various groups and group leaders were selected and each group is maintaining a book mentioning the various activities conducted every week.
Students made charts and collage as a part of celebrations marking the international day for biological diversity.
Students used orange peels to grow seedlings, time to time eco-friendly activities are conducted.
School eco-club is having its own two hydroponic units where students have looked after the entire units of their own by producing lettuce varieties and selling the produce for purchasing new seedlings. it is indeed a very pleasant experience for students to learn and work in these units.
Eco club in Indian School Al Seeb generates awareness and sensitivity among students towards environmental issues and their connected problems .build attitudes to help individuals and social groups acquire a set of values and feelings of concern for the environment, and the motivation for actively participating in environmental improvement and protection.
